Una (as defined) is an online service provider for viewing, comparing, applying for, and/or purchasing insurance, loan, and other financial products, as well as for viewing and making donations and fundraising through the Una Platform (as defined), which can be used by visitors, users, customers, and/or the public.
The use of services related to the Una Platform is governed by the applicable Terms and Conditions specific to each product or service, which constitute a part of these General Terms and Conditions for using the Una Platform.
In the event of any inconsistency or conflict between these General Terms and Conditions and the Terms and Conditions applicable to a particular product or service, the specific product or service-related Terms and Conditions shall take precedence with respect to that product or service. These General Terms and Conditions will continue to apply to all other aspects of your use of the Una Platform.
By registering and/or using the Una Platform, you agree to be bound by these Terms and Conditions.
You must be 18 years or older to be eligible to use the Una Platform. Those under the age of 18 must be represented by a parent or legal guardian, and the use of the Una Platform is the full responsibility of the parent or legal guardian.
Please read these Terms and Conditions carefully to ensure you understand them. If you do not agree to these Terms and Conditions, you must not access or use the Una Platform or any of its related services.
1. Definitions
In these Terms and Conditions, the following terms shall have the meanings set out below:
1.1. “BANI” is the Badan Arbitrase Nasional Indonesia, an arbitration body that has been agreed upon by the Parties and appointed to resolve disputes if a dispute arises.
1.2. "User" or "you" refers to any individual or entity that accesses or uses the Una Platform, including your authorised representatives and any entity you represent.
1.3. "Party" refers to either Una or the User (including any authorised representatives and entities they may represent) individually, and "Parties" refers to Una and the User collectively.
1.4. "Third-Party Product and Service Provider" or “Product and Service Provider” refers to external partners, such as insurance companies, banks, financing companies, and financial institutions, with whom Una collaborates to offer insurance, loan, and other financial products, as well as third-party fundraisers with whom Una collaborates to offer fundraising-related services.
1.5. “Una Platform” refers to Una's websites and any subdomains (collectively referred to as the “Website”), web-based applications, tablet applications, mobile applications, and other smart device applications, along with any associated application programming interfaces (collectively referred to as the “Application”), and all related services (collectively referred to as the “Service”).
1.6. "Una", "we", "us", or "our" refers to PT Una Darma Indonesia, its subsidiaries and affiliated companies.
2. User Account, Password and Security
2.1. Before using our Service or purchasing products through our Service, you are required to create an account through the Una Platform. You represent and warrant that the information provided at the time of registration, and any subsequent updates, is true, accurate, current, and complete. You agree to maintain and promptly update this information to ensure it remains accurate and up to date at all times.
2.2. You are solely responsible for maintaining the confidentiality of your account and password, as well as for all activities conducted under your account. You agree to:
notify us immediately of any unauthorised use of your account or any security breach; and
log out of your account at the end of each session.
2.3. Una is not liable for any losses you may incur as a result of unauthorised access to your account, whether with or without your knowledge. However, you may be held liable for any losses Una incurs due to the unauthorised or improper use of your account or password. You may not use another person’s account without their express permission.
3. General Provisions
By using the Una Platform, you hereby declare that:
3.1. You appoint Una as a facilitator in obtaining insurance, loan, and/or other financial products from the Product and Service Provider through the Una Platform. This includes but is not limited to facilitating the provision of insurance product information, underwriting, issuance, and servicing of insurance policies (such as payment, renewal, claim, and termination), and the provision of loan product information, loan application, and servicing of the loan (such as payment instalment information).
3.2. You have read and understood the terms, costs, premiums, benefits, exclusions, and other relevant information regarding any insurance you apply for through the Una Platform.
3.3. You have read and understood the terms, interest rates, fees, repayment schedules, and other relevant information regarding any loan you apply for through the Una Platform.
3.4. You have read and understood the terms and other relevant information regarding any Donation and Fundraising you use through the Una Platform.
3.5. You have read and understood the terms and other relevant information regarding any other products and services you apply for and/or use through the Una Platform.
3.6. You have carefully reviewed, understood, and accurately completed all the information in your application, ensuring the information reflects your current circumstances as the basis for issuing the insurance policy and/or loan contract. Should any information in your application change, you agree to promptly notify Una so that the necessary follow-up actions can be taken.
3.7. You acknowledge that by applying for insurance or loan, you have a legal responsibility to make premium payments or loan repayments, as applicable.
3.8. You agree that if the information you provide is false or does not accurately reflect your actual situation, Una and/or the Product and Service Provider, either separately and/or jointly, reserve the right to reject or cancel your application, or terminate any existing insurance policy and/or loan contract. If necessary, Una and/or the Product and Service Provider may also pursue legal action. This may apply in situations where:
you are suspected or found to have provided false or misleading information;
you have submitted fraudulent or forged documents;
transaction funds are suspected or found to originate from illegal activities;
there is incomplete information and/or documents during the verification process and/or the validation process; or
there is a failure to meet the requirements during the validation process.
3.9. You understand and are fully responsible for all consequences that arise if there is incorrect information in connection with your insurance and/or loan application through Una.
3.10. If you use the Una Platform on behalf of a third party, such as a family member or another individual, you represent that the third party has agreed to and is bound by these Terms and Conditions. You are responsible for ensuring the accuracy of any information provided in connection with such use and for informing the third party of all applicable terms and conditions. By using the Una Platform on behalf of a third party, you agree to indemnify and hold Una harmless from any liabilities, losses, damages, claims, or demands, including legal costs, arising from your or the third party’s breach of these Terms and Conditions or any negligence.
3.11. You agree to comply with all applicable laws and regulations of the Republic of Indonesia regarding your insurance and/or loan application, as well as any other transactions undertaken through the Una Platform. This includes compliance with all current and future amendments to such laws and regulations.
4. Privacy and Protection of Personal Data
4.1. Your use of the Una Platform may involve handling personal data (“Personal Data”), whether your own or that of others. You agree that any Personal Data you access or provide through the Una Platform will be used solely for the purposes intended by Una and in compliance with all applicable privacy and data protection laws.

5. Electronic Communications
By using the Una Platform, you consent to receive all communications from Una electronically. This includes but is not limited to records, notices, disclosures, and transaction-related information, which may be delivered through the platform, email, or other digital means.
6. Payment Terms
6.1. Payments that are recognised as valid transactions are in the currency of the Republic of Indonesia (Rupiah)..
6.2. Once your insurance application has been approved and an invoice has been generated, you are required to make payment through the payment channels provided by Una. After completing the payment, Una will provide you with an e-policy issued by the insurance company.
6.3. For loan contracts, once the loan application is approved, you will receive the electronic cover notes and be required to make loan instalment payments according to the agreed terms.
6.4. The total charges for transactions on the Una Platform include any applicable payment transaction fees. Payment transaction fees are charged on an “as is” basis according to the terms set by each payment transaction service provider. The amount of transaction fees may be changed at any time by the payment transaction service provider without prior notice from us. Information regarding the transaction fees can be found in the Transaction Fee.
6.5. In certain cases, we may cancel or reject your payment if there is an error on the Una Platform, including but not limited to pricing errors, that could affect the fairness or accuracy of the transaction. In such instances, any amount charged will be refunded without additional fees.
7. Accuracy of Third-Party Product and Service Information
7.1. Una is committed to display and update information related to products and services from the Third-Party Product and Service Provider, including details on prices, costs, risks, obligations, exclusions, and other relevant terms. We strive to ensure that the information on the Una Platform is accurate, clear, and up to date. However, all information provided may change at any time by the Product and Service Provider without prior notice from us.
7.2. The accuracy of product details provided by the Third-Party Product and Service Provider is the sole responsibility of those providers. Una is not liable for any errors, omissions, or inaccuracies of the information, nor for any losses or damages resulting from your reliance on it, except as required by applicable laws and regulations.
8. Intellectual Property Rights
8.1. All intellectual property rights related to the Una Platform, including but not limited to copyrights, trademarks, service marks (whether registered or unregistered), and logos, are owned by Una and its licensors. You may not reproduce, distribute, modify, republish, display, transmit, or store these materials in any form without prior written consent from Una.
8.2. You are not allowed to create hyperlinks to the Una Platform on external websites or applications without express authorisation. The use of Una’s name, logos, or trademarks in any advertising or promotional materials is also prohibited without prior written consent from Una. However, you may download and print materials from the Una Platform for personal and non-commercial use only.
9. User Conduct and Una Platform Use
9.1. You agree to use the Una Platform in accordance with all applicable laws and regulations, Una's Privacy Policy, as well as these Terms and Conditions. Unless expressly exempted in writing or agreed upon in a written agreement, all uses of the Una Platform are intended for personal and non-commercial purposes only.
9.2. You will not use the Una Platform in any manner that could damage, disable, overburden, or impair its functionality or any networks associated with it. This includes but is not limited to:
interfering with or disrupting the Una Platform’s services, security features, or infrastructure;
using automated systems, bots, scripts, or other methods to access, scrape, crawl, or index the Una Platform or its content without prior written consent from Una;
accessing or attempting to access the Una Platform by any means other than through the interface provided by Una, including attempting to gain unauthorised access to the Una Platform's systems or networks; and
uploading, distributing, or transmitting malicious software, viruses, or any other harmful or destructive code to the Una Platform and/or through the Una Platform.
9.3. You will not use the Una Platform for unauthorised or illegal activities. This includes but is not limited to:
submitting false, misleading, or manipulated information in connection with insurance or loan applications, or for any other purposes;
creating an account for anyone other than yourself without proper authorisation, or using another person's account without their permission;
sending announcements, links, or any content that violate laws, regulations, or facilitate unlawful activities, including defamatory, slanderous, or false content;
reselling, copying, monitoring, displaying, downloading, or reproducing any content, software, products, or services available for commercial purposes;
collecting, harvesting, or storing personal data about other users without their express consent; and
storing any content that violates applicable laws or any existing contractual obligations.
9.4. You will not use the Una Platform for any actions that violate the rights of other User or cause harm to any party. This includes but is not limited to:
submitting or posting illegal, offensive, defamatory, or infringing content;
impersonating any person or entity, or falsely representing your affiliation with any individual or organisation;
sharing or distributing content that you do not have the right to share under any law or contractual or fiduciary relationships; and
using the Una Platform's communication systems for unauthorised commercial solicitation, advertising purposes, or sending unsolicited messages (spam).
10. User Content
10.1. By submitting any content, including but not limited to text, images, videos, feedback, or other materials to the Una Platform (“User Content”), you grant Una a perpetual, non-exclusive, worldwide, royalty-free, and irrevocable right and licence to use, reproduce, modify, adapt, publish, distribute, and display your User Content in any medium, including for marketing, promotional, and advertising purposes. This licence includes the right for Una to sublicense these rights to its affiliates and third-party partners in connection with the operation and promotion of the Una Platform.
10.2. Any ideas, suggestions, or proposals you give or submit to us (“Contribution”) are considered non-confidential, and Una has no obligation to use or compensate you for them. Any Contribution you provide becomes the property of Una and Una may use them without any obligation to you.
10.3. You retain ownership of any intellectual property rights in the User Content you submit. However, by providing User Content to us, you represent and warrant that:
You have the necessary rights to grant the licence to use the User Content as outlined in these Terms and Conditions;
The User Content does not infringe upon any third-party intellectual property or privacy rights; and
The User Content complies with all applicable laws and regulations.
10.4. You agree to indemnify and hold Una harmless from any claims or disputes arising from the User Content or Contribution you give and/or submit.
11. Links to Third-Party Websites or Services
The Una Platform may include links to third-party websites or services. These links do not indicate our endorsement or suggest any affiliation with the website owners or operators. We are not responsible for the content, accuracy, or reliability of information found on third-party websites or services, nor for any data or transmissions you may receive from them. Any transactions or agreements you enter into with third parties, including advertisers, linked through the Una Platform are solely between you and the third party. We are not liable for any damages or claims arising from such transactions or agreements.
12. Limitation of Liability
12.1. The Una Platform, including its services, content, and information, is provided on an “ as is.” and “as available.” basis. We make no warranties regarding the accuracy, completeness, or adequacy of the system, products, or services. We expressly disclaim any liability for errors, omissions, or inaccuracies in the information made available through the Una Platform.
12.2. Una makes no warranties of any kind, whether express or implied, including but not limited to implied warranties of merchantability, fitness for a particular purpose, or non-infringement. This applies to all products or services provided through the Una Platform. Additionally, no advice or information obtained from the Una Platform, whether written, spoken, or provided by any representative, will create any warranty not expressly stated in these Terms and Conditions.
12.3. Una does not guarantee that the content, information, or services on the Una Platform will be provided or updated in a timely manner, without interruption, errors, or omissions. We also do not warrant that the Una Platform will be free from viruses, malware, or harmful codes. Any damages resulting from exposure to such threats or from downloading content are at your own risk.
12.4. Una shall not be liable to you or any third party for any suspension, termination, or restriction of access to the Una Platform, whether due to technical issues, maintenance, or any other reason beyond our control.
12.5. Una is not responsible for any liabilities, losses, damages, or expenses caused by or alleged to be caused by your use or reliance on the Una Platform, including the content, information, or services provided.
13. Force Majeure
13.1. Una shall not be liable for any delay, disruption in service delivery, or interruption in access to the Una Platform caused by events beyond our reasonable control (“Force Majeure Events”). These events include but are not limited to natural disasters, epidemics or pandemics, civil unrest, war or military actions, terrorist acts, government sanctions or changes in regulations, labour strikes, cyberattacks, insolvencies of the Product and Service Provider, or major disruptions to transportation, communication, or power systems.
13.2. Una shall not be liable for any losses or damages resulting from the inability to process transactions, restricted access to the Una Platform, or any other service disruptions caused by Force Majeure Events..
14. Indemnification
14.1. You agree to defend and indemnify Una, our affiliates, as well as our owners, officers, directors, employees, agents, and/or licensors, from and against any and all claims, damages, liabilities, losses, costs, and expenses, including but not limited to attorney’s fees, arising from:
your use of the Una Platform;
your breach of these Terms and Conditions;
your infringement of any third-party rights, including but not limited to copyright, ownership rights, publicity rights, or privacy rights; or
any actions taken on behalf of your account.
14.2. The obligation to defend and indemnify Una will survive the termination of these Terms and Conditions and your use of the Una Platform.
15. Termination
15.1. Una reserves the right to modify, suspend, discontinue, or terminate the Una Platform, or any part of it, at any time and for any reasons, including but not limited to operational, business, or legal reasons.
15.2. Upon termination, your obligations under these Terms and Conditions, including but not limited to warranties, indemnities, and limitations of liability, will continue to apply for any products or services provided up until the termination date and, where applicable, beyond for as long as necessary.
15.3. Una shall not be liable to you or any third party for any suspension, discontinuation, or termination of access to the Una Platform or its services, including any resulting losses or damages.
16. Miscellaneous Provisions
16.1. These Terms and Conditions, along with any agreements and policies referenced herein, constitute the entire agreement between the Parties concerning the Una Platform and the Service. These Terms and Conditions supersede all prior understandings, communications, arrangements and/or agreements, whether written or oral, related to the subject matter. All implied provisions are expressly excluded. By agreeing to these Terms and Conditions, you confirm that you have not relied on any information, representation, warranty, understanding, or assurance other than as expressly set forth in these Terms and Conditions.
16.2. Una reserves the absolute right at its own discretion to transfer, assign, delegate, sublicense, or pledge in any form, any of its rights or obligations under these Terms and Conditions to any affiliate, successor, or any third party, without notifying you or obtaining your consent. Any such transfer or assignment will not affect your rights or obligations under these Terms and Conditions.
16.3. You are not permitted to transfer, assign, delegate, sublicense, or pledge in any form, any of your rights or obligations under these Terms and Conditions without prior written consent from Una.
16.4. If any provision of these Terms and Conditions is found to be invalid, illegal, or unenforceable by a court of competent jurisdiction, the remaining provisions will remain in full force and effect. Such invalidity or unenforceability will not affect any other provisions of these Terms and Conditions, and these Terms and Conditions will be interpreted as if the invalid provisions had never been a part of it.
16.5. The failure of Una to enforce any right or provision of these Terms and Conditions shall not constitute a waiver of such right or provision. Any waiver of such right or provision will be effective only if in writing and signed by a duly authorised representative of Una.
16.6. No waiver by Una of any breach or default, including but not limited to failure to pay, and any failure to fulfil any obligations by the User shall be deemed to constitute a waiver of any subsequent breach, default or failure to fulfil obligations, whether of the same or any other provision, by the User.
17. Modifications to Terms and Conditions
17.1. We reserve the right to update or modify any part of these Terms and Conditions, including but not limited to applicable fees and charges related to your use of the Una Platform, without prior notice.
17.2. Any modifications will be posted on the Una Platform and we will make reasonable efforts to provide notice of the changes to the Terms and Conditions on our websites and/or mobile applications.
17.3. You are required to regularly review the Terms and Conditions to ensure compliance with the most current applicable version.
17.4. By continuing to use the Una Platform after any updates or changes to these Terms and Conditions, you are considered to have agreed to be bound by the updated terms, even if you have not reviewed them.
18. Dispute Resolution
18.1. Any dispute, whether contractual or non-contractual, arising from or related to these Terms and Conditions must first be attempted to be resolved amicably between the Parties.
18.2. In the event that the Parties do not reach an agreement or consensus within 30 (thirty) calendar days after the commencement of negotiation, the dispute shall be resolved through arbitration in Jakarta, Indonesia, in accordance with the rules of BANI in effect at the time.
19. Governing Law
These Terms and Conditions are governed by and interpreted in accordance with the applicable laws of the Republic of Indonesia.
20. Languages
These Terms and Conditions are written in both Indonesian and English. In the event of any inconsistency or difference between the Indonesian and the English versions, the Indonesian version shall prevail. The English version shall be amended and interpreted to remain consistent with the Indonesian version.
